How To Apply Magnetic Eyelashes In 4 Easy Steps
- Please ensure that your eyelid is free from any oil before applying. If you have oily lids, please cleanse the eye area and ensure it is completely dry.
- If the lash is not holding on make sure the liner is completely dry and that the lash magnets don't have magnetic liner stuck to them.
*Please remove the eyeliner and eyelashes before going for an MRI scan.
Flex The Eyelash Band
Before you start, flex the lash band between the magnets until it feels soft and flexible using your fingers.
(Your lashes are made from durable materials and can be little stiff when new, just like a new pair of shoes. After flexed they will adapt your eye shape and stay on more securely.)
Apply The Magnetic Eyeliner
Shake the magnetic eyeliner bottle for 30-60s. Make sure your skin is clean and oil-free. Begin applying the magnetic liner to your inner lash line moving towards the centre, but do not fill it in yet. Then, apply some liner to your outer lash line moving towards the outer edge. If your eyelids tend to cover up your eyeliner, then apply the liner in an arch shape. Use a generous amount of the eyeliner to ensure the eyelash will hold firm if you use too little it won't stay on.
Apply Mascara (Optional)
While you wait for the liner to dry you can add a light coat of mascara to your natural lashes to enhance the final look. This technique will ensure that the natural lashes will match the colour of the false ones.
Attach The Magnetic Eyelash
Make sure the liner is dry to touch before applying the lashes!
Take the lash and place it on the top of your lashes. Try to get it, as close to the lash line as you can get.
As you get closer the magnets will connect, locking your lashes in place.
If you need to adjust, simply grab the corner of each lash strip to gently to pull to reposition. If the lashes are completely off, just gently pull them off starting from one corner of the eye and reposition.
To complete your look, just repeat these steps on the opposite eye.
Voila! You’re looking fab!
Removing Wink Deluxe Magnetic Eyeliner
You can also use oil-based waterproof makeup remover to take off your magnetic eyeliner.
When removing it's important to remember that the oil-based waterproof makeup remover should do most of the work.
Just simply soak the liner with a cotton pad and after that gently without rubbing or applying too much force wipe it off. You can also use coconut oil or olive oil.
IMPORTANT: After each use clean the magnets on your false lashes. If there is too much liner stuck to them they won't stick!
We recommend removing any excess liner from the magnets with an oil-free cleanser and a cotton bud. Place lashes back into the tray to maintain lash shape.
